Tokyo, 20 February 2015 – Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo unveils 10 new Executive Suites this March, offering guests an elevated accommodation option with unparalleled views of one of the world’s largest metropolises.

The new elegantly appointed suites offer an indulgent home-away-from-home feel, separate living areas and bathrooms with a bathtub and rain shower. These suites are located in the corners of the hotel for better privacy and face either the Imperial Garden or Tokyo Bay. Each bedroom area has a panoramic view of the dramatic Tokyo skyline.

Whether guests are staying for business or leisure, the suites provide both comfort and a cosy atmosphere. The living area is suitable for intimate business meetings or for relaxation with a friend over afternoon tea.

“After six years of being recognised as one of the best hotels in Japan, we have taken the feedback of our guests to further provide accessible luxury to corporate executives and small families. They will find a lot of value in staying in these new suites,” said Mr Jens Moesker, the hotel’s general manager.

Guests of these 10 Executive Suites (68 square metres / 732 square feet) on floors 31 through 35 of the hotel will enjoy access to the Horizon Club Lounge, which provides a dedicated concierge service, private lounge and special amenities. The Horizon Club Lounge serves daily breakfast, evening cocktails and canapés, and beverages throughout the day.
