Travelex opens new “Open Concept” Currency Exchange stores at Shinchitose Airport on 30 August 2019. Travelex is also redefining the currency exchange service at existing stores within Shinchitose Airport partnering with travel agency and key tourist spots enabling inbound customers to feel freedom and peace of mind to explore Hokkaido in the best possible way.
Hokkaido, JAPAN: Travelex, the world’s leading foreign exchange provider today announce the opening of new “open concept” currency exchange stores at the Shinchitose Airport (IATA Code: CTS) , Japan, 30 August 2019. New store will cater digital screens for the customers to explore the “Must-See” travel spots at the destination with the price in Japanese yen and foreign currencies enabling customers to get most out of the trip with the currency that they transact at Travelex.
Travelex is also redefining currency exchange service with value added service at the existing stores. At the stores at the arrival hall, Travelex will show “Must-See” travel spots within Hokkaido on the digital screen partnering with key tourist attraction within Hokkaido. One of the campaign will be to give out one of the Hokkaido’s popular souvenir “Shiroikoibito” cookies upon transacting with Travelex (While stock last). Travelex will also be partnering with travel agency to provide customers with “QR discount pass” for the travellers to get discount in admission fees at the popular tourist attractions in Hokkaido. This will enable customers to feel freedom and peace of mind to explore Hokkaido in the best possible way. Travelex is also awarding ANA and JAL airline mileage, providing value added service to airline loyal customers.
