-Time for challenge- Waseda university's school festival, WASEDASAI2016's effort to be more international

WASEDASAI2016 is one of the biggest school festivals which approximately 160,000 people visit each year. From this year, WASEDASAI2016 Staff ramp up efforts to invite more foreign visitors and have more international students take part in WASEDASAI2016. In this article, we introduce our effort.

~For foreign visitors~
1. On the day of WASEDASAI2016, we post WASEDASAI2016 Staffs who can speak English, Chinese and so on at information services. They can tell you what you want to know in your languages. Even if you can't understand Japanese, you would be able to enjoy WASEDASAI2016.

2. WASEDASAI2016 Official Website is sending out a lot of informaton about WASEDASAI2016. From this year, we have made English version of it. It tells matters to be attended to, overview of WASEDASAI2016, words of Representative and so on all in English. If you have any questions about WASEDSAI2016, the website would help you.


~For international students~
We hold an event for international students, WASE-UTA. In this event, the number one singer from all the international students who study at Waseda University will be chosen. At the very end, we will put our arms around people next to each other and sing “Konpeki no Sora”, which is the first verse of Wasea University's cheering song all together. It will be a moment when people’s heart will be gathered and come together with people from different backgrounds, through the culture of Waseda, at the place of Waseda.
