AnyPerk Named One of Fast Company's 50 Most Innovative Companies
AnyPerk
Validates AnyPerk's Mission to Empower Companies to Delight, Attract, and Retain Their Employees; Strengthening Employee Happiness
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 17, 2015
AnyPerk, which brings delight and recognition back into the everyday lives of employees at companies of any size, announced today that Fast Company has named AnyPerk among the world's 50 Most Innovative Companies for 2015. AnyPerk was named #37 among such major brands as Tesla, Apple, Toyota, Gilead Sciences and Warby Parker. The award honors leading enterprises and rising newcomers that exemplify the best in business and innovation.
"We are honored to be named among the world's most innovative companies and thank Fast Company for the recognition," said AnyPerk CEO Taro Fukuyama. "When we created AnyPerk it was because we saw employee happiness as a too often overlooked – and underinvested in – part of business. Through the AnyPerk platform we are empowering companies of all sizes with a simple and affordable way to make the lives of their employees happier and hopefully better!"
Most Innovative Companies is one of Fast Company's most significant and highly anticipated editorial efforts of the year. The magazine's editors spend months gathering and analyzing data on companies around the globe. The resulting package emphasizes the breadth of companies with progressive, nimble business models, an ethos of sustainability, and a culture of creativity.
"Our goal is to illuminate the state of innovation as it exists right now within the rapidly changing global landscape," said Fast Company editor Robert Safian. "That's why there are only five repeats on our top 50 list from the list a year ago. In this economic environment, we all need to continually challenge our assumptions."
AnyPerk has created a customizable perks platform to help its customers easily recognize and reward employees with the kinds of corporate perks once only available to a few blue-chip organizations with deep pockets. AnyPerk has negotiated over 700 perks for its customers, often by company request to fit their employees' lifestyles, ranging from preferred pricing on frequently used services like 24 Hour Fitness and Lyft to products like Beats by Dre, AMC movie tickets and Ray-Bans.
"We just announced our $8.5 million Series A financing and we have only just begun our mission to help employers create employee delight," said Fukuyama. "We recognize creating employee happiness is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor so we will be using this newest round of funding to expand our offering to address even more pieces of the puzzle."
Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies issue (March 2015) is now available online at http://www.fastcompany.com/section/most-innovative-companies-2015 as well as in app form via iTunes, and on newsstands beginning February 17.
